Teachers
Christine Anderson, violin/viola (Italy): a graduate of the Julliard School in New
York, she studied under Dorothy Delay. She is professor of violin at the Conservatorio
“G. Verdi” - Turin. She has performed with the “Gruppo Musica Insieme” of Cremona,
the “Clara Wieck” trio of Turin and Xenia Ensemble. She is one of the founding members
of the Xenia Ensemble Association.
Carlo Bertola, cello (Italy): he has performed in Europe, Japan and Mexico with
different chamber groups. He has been collaborating with the actor Michele Di
Mauro as theatre musician. Musical adviser of the De Sono Music Association, he
is professor of chamber music at the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” of Turin.
Aldo Campagnari, violin (Italy): he is a member of the Prometeo Quartet with whom he tours internationally. He performs in various chamber ensembles and is a member of the Alter Ego ensemble (Rome). He currently teaches violin at the “F. Gaffurio” Academy in Lodi.
Francesco Dillon, cello (Italy): he is a member of the Prometeo Quartet with whom he tours internationally. He performs in different chamber ensembles with artists such as P. Vernikov, M. Brunello, I. Arditti,A. Lonquich, and he is a member of the Alter Ego ensemble (Rome). He teaches at the Fiesole Scuola di Musica, Florence.
Andreas Moscho, violin (Germany): he studied with Charles-André Linale, Keiko Wataya and members of Amadeus, Carmina and Vogler Quartets and the Viennese String Sextet. He performs as a chamber musician with many artists amongst whom Gérard Caussé and Gilles Apap. He is a member of the Delian Quartet.
Claudio Pasceri, cello (Italy): he studied with Renzo Branceleon, Dario Destefano and Julius Berger. He collaborates with musicians like Salvatore Accardo, Bruno Giuranna and Rocco Filippini, working specially on chamber music. He is first cello of the Orchestra da Camera Italiana, directed by Salvatore Accardo.
Adrian Petcu, violin/viola (Ireland): he teaches violin at the Cork Institute of
Technology School of Music. He collaborates with Hugh Maguire at the ConCorda
courses. He is violinist in the Crawford Piano Trio, with whom he performs worl wide.
Junichiro Murakami, viola: he graduated from Toho College of Music, in Tokio. He won several international competition and played worldwide in solo and duo. He is first viola of the WDR Symphonie Orchester in Koln (Germany).
Macha Yanouchevaskaya, cello (France): she is a graduate of the National Music
School of Moscow, pupil of M. Rostropovich at the Moscow Conservatoire and of
Valentin Berlinsky at the Gnessins Institute. Since 1990 she has been professor of
cello and chamber music at the Ecole Nationale de Musique d’Issy-les-Moulineaux.
Xenia Ensemble - Adrian Pinzaru, Eilis Cranitch, Michèle Minne, Elizabeth
Wilson (Italy): was founded in 1996 and participates regularly in international
festivals and concert seasons: Settembre Musica (MiTo), Ravenna Festival, il
Piccolo Regio di Torino, Holland Festival, Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, Ilkom
Festival in Tashkent, St. Petersbourg’s Arts Square Festival and Cité de la Musique,
Paris. Moreover Xenia holds the “EstOvest” Festival every autumn in Turin in a
journey that unites different cultures from the far East to the far West.
EXPRESSION WORKSHOPS
Oscar Valsecchi (Italy): actor, mime and dancer, he studied in Paris at Marcel Marceau School and at the London International Mime School. He worked in England and with the "Théâtre de l’Ange Fou", under the direction of Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum. He is teacher at the Barcelona Dramatic Mime school.
TEACHING COORDINATOR
Tricia Maguire, viola (Ireland): she studied at the
Guildhall School of Music under Nannie Jameson and William Pleeth. In 1994, with
her husband Dr Hugh Maguire, she founded ConCorda - Chamber Music Courses
for young string players. She is a member of the Bushmills Quartet.
